Located on Gifft Hill, 750 feet above sea level, Coconuts features a unique combination of panoramic ocean views, spectacular sunsets, extensive outdoor living and dining areas, and numerous high-end amenities. Coconuts has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, and can accommodate up to eight guests. Its ocean views are among the finest on St. John, and include up to twenty islands, stretching from French Cap in the south to Grass Cay in the north, and as far away as Vieques and Puerto Rico. Coconuts is known for its spectacular, year-round sunsets, and at night, the twinkling lights of St. Thomas beckon across the waters of Pillsbury Sound. The flat, hilltop location of Coconuts ensures complete visual privacy and gentle tropical breezes, as well as a flat driveway with ample room for several cars. The entrance is framed by a large coconut palm, and the grounds include a magnificent Flamboyant, gently sloping side and lower lawns, lush tropical landscaping, and mature fruit trees. The many restaurants and shops of Cruz Bay are only a ten minute drive away, all on newly paved major roads.
The pool is solar heated, and at night, the pool light slowly changes colors, with its diffuse hues illuminating the courtyard. The seven-person hot tub is mounted flush with the main deck, and offers panoramic ocean and sunset views. The addition of wide, gentle stairs down to the lower sundeck provides unobstructed “infinity deck” ocean views from the entrance, pool, and deck chairs.
Coconuts single-level floor plan consists of four hip-roofed buildings (indoor kitchen, great room, primary bedroom, and guest bedroom), arranged in a "U" around the solar heated pool and interior courtyard, with decks, covered walkways, patio gardens, outdoor kitchen, billiard porch, gazebo, and spa facing spectacular views to the west. A detailed floor plan is available in our Photo Gallery (below).
Coconuts provides the ultimate in Caribbean indoor/outdoor living. Its outdoor living areas include an interior garden courtyard, the main pool deck with its large, built-in spa, the gazebo with its dining table, couch, chairs, the billiard porch with its pool table, outdoor kitchen and sound system, and a large lower sundeck with wrap-around bench seating. Unusual for St. John, Coconuts’ grounds are flat and walkable, with large front and side lawns, gorgeous tropical landscaping, and mature fruit trees. An elegant and accurate brass sundial graces the ocean view lawn, and botanical plant labels identify many of the plantings.
Dining options are extensive, and include the great room table for six, the gazebo dining table for six, and granite counter dining for six by the outdoor kitchen. Dine in the gazebo or billiard porch, at tables with some of the finest ocean and sunset views on St. John.
Coconuts is among only a few St. John villas that offer two kitchens; a fully enclosed, air conditioned main kitchen with a breakfast bar for entertaining the chef, and an outdoor kitchen facing the view in the billiard porch. The outdoor kitchen includes a built-in 36 inch gas grill, Teppanyaki cook surface, dual gas side burners, hot water sink, fridge, illuminated bar, and granite counter dining for six.
The great room includes a high-definition 100 inch front projection system with a subwoofer, as well as a large flat screen TV. Use either to watch a movie from our extensive Blu-ray library, your favorite TV show or sporting event, or photos and videos taken during your visit to St. John. Great room and bedroom TVs are Smart, for easy access to your streaming subscriptions. The HD cable package includes HBO.
Play a game of pool or table tennis in the billiard porch, cook and entertain in the beautiful outdoor granite kitchen, enjoy the star-filled skies from the hammock deck, or simply relax in the gazebo, pool, and spa. "My family and I recently stayed at Coconuts and it was absolutely perfect. The view is so spectacular pictures do not do it justice at all. We have stayed on many Carribbean islands, but this view out did them all. The pool was great and the temperature for hot August nights wes perfect. We cooked and ate every breakfast and many dinners in the outdoor kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the airconditioning worked great. Water pressure was low but that was to be expected. All in all a great experience. We hope to return soon, but, however I just checked the dates we were interested in and they are already booked! All in all a great place and I highly recommend it!"

"We had a wonderful time at Coconuts. It was our first visit to St. John and we were out exploring the island daily but made sure we were back on time to enjoy the villa. We loved it so much we ended up just staying in for a day before we left. My boys were never bored in Coconuts, there was so much for them to do that I could just appreciate the spectacular view with a book and relax. We had all kinds of fun animals visit us too: hummingbirds, sugarquits, elk, cats, even two iguanas. The owners are a pleasure to work with, and Coconuts is a little piece of paradise. One of the best vacation villas we have stayed at. Don't hesitate to book it."

"We just got back from a two week stay at Coconuts. The house is just as depicted in the picture and the owners (Kevin and Danielle) was a pleasure to deal with. We had one minor issue with the house and they immediately answered and tried to solve it. I also left a couple of items there and they were so helpful with finding someone to ship those to me. We were so completely satisfied with both St. John and Coconuts that we already booked the villa for next year!
The house itself is in a great location.. about 10 minutes from town and 20 minutes from the beaches. The hills were something to get used to, but after a couple of days it was no big deal. The view is amazing... it has become my happy place and I can picture it in my mind at any time. We loved the big covered gazebo and the outdoor kitchen. House is very private even though you are in a residential area. The teppanyaki was something new for us, but we loved cooking on it and my husband is already trying to see how we can incorporate one at our home! Bedroom very comfortable and a/c worked great. We did not use the living room at all as most of our time was spent outside.
Thanks again for everything and we will be back!"

"When our greeter opened the door of Coconuts, our mouths dropped open. The view was so spectacular. Even more beautiful than the photos. Everything we could ask for was in the home. We spent the first night there making dinner on the Tappanyaki and grill and watching the sunset from the hot tub. Than a great game of pool. Each morning we would sit in the outdoor table and plan our day of snorkeling. We brought our own equipment, but they have everything you need if you didn't . We did borrow the boogie boards and they were fun. The bedrooms are so nice, the loft bedroom has the bathroom downstairs, so that would be better for someone younger. We spent most of the time outdoors, but one night we watched a movie (they have a large list of DVDs) on their projector which was like being at the movies. So nice! The owners have supplied a book which lists just about everything you could need, also places to eat and snorkel, ect. Coconuts is clean and well-cared for and has every amenity. It was like heaven and we are definitely going to go back. My friends saw the pictures on Facebook, and now they all want to go! Thanks to the owners for sharing their little slice of heaven with us. We really loved it!"
